1. General Provisions and Acceptance

This document sets out the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the ROQWELD website and the purchase of its welding products and consumables within the Oriental Republic of Uruguay and abroad.

By browsing, registering or completing a purchase on our platform, the user declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the applicable Uruguayan regulations on e-commerce and consumer protection (Law No. 17,250).

2. Product Information and Availability

ROQWELD specializes in selling professional welding consumables, spare parts and accessories (including nozzles, diffusers, ceramic sets, contact tips and compatible components). Published images, technical sheets and descriptions are for information purposes and aim to reflect the actual product specifications as accurately as possible.

All purchase orders are subject to stock availability. If an item goes out of stock or cannot be supplied after the purchase, the customer will be notified immediately and offered either an equivalent replacement product or a full refund of the amount paid.

3. Prices, Invoicing and Currency

All ROQWELD prices are stated and quoted in US Dollars (USD) — the store’s only reference currency — and both card payments and bank transfers are charged in that currency. If your card is in another currency, your card issuer handles the conversion under its own terms.

Published prices do not include Value Added Tax (VAT); the corresponding amount is calculated and added to the total before the purchase is confirmed, in accordance with Uruguayan tax law (DGI). ROQWELD issues the required tax documentation for every purchase.

4. Payment Methods and Security

Credit, debit and prepaid card payments are made on the store's own checkout and processed by Mercado Pago, which charges in Uruguayan pesos at the day's exchange rate; when available, international card payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider; and bank transfers are received in Banco Santander Uruguay accounts (domestic, in pesos or US dollars) or in a US dollar account at Wise (international, via SWIFT). Card details are encrypted and sent directly to the processor: ROQWELD never receives or stores them. All of them use TLS encryption.

ROQWELD does not collect, process or store full credit or debit card numbers, security codes (CVV) or the buyer’s banking credentials.

5. Shipping and Delivery Times

ROQWELD is a global store with no single sales region. Within Uruguay, we deliver nationwide through authorized logistics agencies and couriers (DAC, DePunta, Mirtrans or other licensed carriers), with usual dispatch times of 24 to 72 business hours after payment confirmation.

For orders shipped to Argentina or any other country, shipping is arranged individually (international courier, delivery time and cost depending on the destination) before payment is confirmed; see our shipping policy for details. Import duties or taxes in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information and a valid contact number to coordinate the shipment.

6. Legal Warranty and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Uruguay’s Consumer Protection Law No. 17,250:

• Right of Withdrawal: For purchases made online or by electronic means, the consumer may cancel the contract within five (5) business days of receiving the product, provided it has not been used and retains its original, intact packaging and factory seals.
• Quality Warranty: Any product with a manufacturing defect is covered by the legal warranty. Normal wear from improper industrial use, incorrect installation or amperages outside the recommended technical specification is not covered.

7. Intellectual Property

The ROQWELD® brand, logos, designs, texts, manuals and photographs on this website are the exclusive property of the company or are used under proper license. Their reproduction, distribution or unauthorized commercial use without express written consent is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute arising from the use of the website or commercial transactions shall be submitted to the Ordinary Courts of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay.
